The exorbitant price of kerosene has dire consequences, particularly in rural areas where frequent power outages are a common occurrence. This severely impedes the studies of rural students who rely on kerosene lamps for their education. This predicament has become further aggravated by the avarice of unscrupulous hoarders, dishonest wholesalers, and traders who contrive artificial shortages of essential commodities. It is my belief that there is no genuine scarcity of goods; rather, it is the malevolent intentions of these unscrupulous traders that lie at the heart of the price surge in Bangladesh.   The relentless increase in prices has already disrupted the normal lives of the people, causing widespread distress.
