With due respect and humble submission we, the students of class IX / X of your school, beg to state that we wish to play a friendly Cricket match today with the students of other classes. There are some students in our class as well as in the other classes who play in the school Cricket team. As the inter school Cricket tournament is going to begin in the next month, we think this match will help us to improve our skill and help us to prepare ourselves for the tournament. So, we want to have the match after the 4th period in the school play ground. Our game teacher has kindly consented to conduct the game.

We, therefore request the favour of your kindly allowing us to play the match after the 4th period and oblige thereby.
