Dear Raj,
I have received your letter after a long gap. I am glad to know that you all are well by the grace of God. I would like to inform you about my experience of taking food in a restaurant.
The result of our annual examination was published a few days ago. We were then quite free. In the mean time, one of my classmates invited us to have a lunch at a famous restaurant.
I Accordingly, we reached that restaurant in a fixed time. Entering into the restaurant, we found that the environment in the restaurant was beautiful. The restaurant was well furnished and ventilated. The waiters were well behaved and polite natured. They brought the food menu. There were Chicken biriyani, Mutton biriyani, Kacchi biriyani, Plain rice, Small fish, Hilsha fish, Chicken curry, Mixed vegetables, Potato curry etc. in the menu. We took chicken biriyani. It was very tasty and we also had a cold drink. After that I was surprised to see the bill of fare. It was much higher than I had anticipated. However, I had to pay taka 700 for a simple dinner. Yet our enjoyment at that restaurant was unforgettable.
No more today. I look forward to receiving your letter. With best wishes.
Your loving friend,
Gias

My dear ‘Ahad’,
It is many days since you wrote to me. Today I am going to tell you about my experience of taking food in a restaurant. You know our friend, ‘S’. He celebrated his birth anniversary the day before yesterday. On this day he arranged a party at a Chinese restaurant and we the local friends were all invited.
You will be glad to know that this was totally a new experience for me to have the experience of having food in a Chinese restaurant. In the evening we went to his residence by twos and threes. We wished him Happy Birthday. Then all of us together went to the Chinese restaurant which had already been fixed before. There was dim light in the room. As soon as we took our seats, a waiter in uniform came and handed menu to some of us. I was a greenhorn in this regard. So, I didn’t go ahead. Sohel consulted with some of us and placed order. There was no noise like the normal restaurants. Everybody talked in low voice. I kept looking around and listening to the fine music.
The waiter gave a bowl of soup. We took this with some sauce and pepper extract. It tasted well. Cold drinks were served. Then came fried rice, prawn balls, vegetables and chicken fry. We took the food using fork and spoon. Flavour of food in the restaurant was different from that at home. Aroma was also different and crispy. Really, it was a very delicious dish. My mouth still waters at the thought of those delicious dishes. It was a very nice and enjoyable experience.
This is all for today. Write to me soon.
Yours ever,
Jabid

My dear ‘Ahad’,
I hope you’re doing well. I had a delightful experience recently that I thought you’d enjoy hearing about. Last weekend, I went to a restaurant for lunch, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience!
The restaurant was a cozy place located in the heart of the city. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a warm ambiance. The décor was simple yet elegant, with soft lighting and beautiful artwork on the walls. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, instantly making me feel hungry.
After browsing through the menu, which had a variety of dishes to choose from, I decided to try their signature item—a plate of biryani. While waiting for the food, I sipped on a refreshing glass of lemon mint juice. It was the perfect start to the meal.
When the biryani arrived, it looked as good as it smelled. The presentation was immaculate, with golden rice, tender pieces of chicken, and a garnish of fried onions and boiled eggs. The first bite was heavenly—the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spices were just right. Along with the biryani, they served a side of raita and salad, which complemented the dish wonderfully.
For dessert, I couldn’t resist ordering a bowl of chilled firni. It was creamy, sweet, and had a delicate hint of cardamom. Every spoonful felt like a treat!
What made the experience even better was the excellent service. The staff were polite and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
This visit reminded me of how food is not just about satisfying hunger; it’s about enjoying the moment, the flavors, and the company. I wish you had been there with me—it would’ve been so much fun to share the meal and the experience with you.
Let’s plan a visit to this restaurant together sometime soon. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did! Write back and let me know when you’re free.
Take care and stay in touch.
Warm regards,
Jabid
