Subject : The indiscriminate use of loudspeaker, its harmful effect and control.
Dear Sir
Life may become intolerable by the indiscriminate use of some recreational instruments by one's neighbour. Few days ago, there was a marriage ceremony in our next-door neighbour's house. Of course, it was a matter of great pleasure. But one should also be aware of the fact that one's pleasure may be the cause of other's annoyance. My neighbour was totally inconsiderate towards his fellows brothers. The loud rock music-played by the amplifier did not let us study fora single moment on those days. We had exams at that time. Besides, my old grandmother was severely ill who could hardl tolerate it. In spite of knowing all these, they did not care about us. Moreover, they showed indifference when we went to tell them to control the sound.
Now I think, there should be strict laws in order to stop such indiscriminate use of instruments so that people may be conscious of its bad effects and be sympathetic with their fellow beings. If all the people are conscious of its bad effect, only then, we all will be able to live peacefully.
Yours faithfully

Subject: The Indiscriminate Use of Loudspeakers, Its Harmful Effects, and Control
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my concern regarding the indiscriminate use of loudspeakers, particularly during events such as marriage ceremonies, and the detrimental effects it has on the community.
Recently, our next-door neighbor hosted a marriage ceremony, which should have been a joyous occasion. However, the excessive use of loud rock music through amplifiers caused significant disturbance to the surrounding households. This posed a serious problem for us, as my family and I were preparing for exams during that time. Additionally, my elderly grandmother, who was unwell, found it extremely difficult to cope with the noise. Despite our attempts to communicate our discomfort, our neighbors showed little consideration and continued with their loud celebrations.
I strongly believe that there should be stringent regulations in place to address such issues and prevent the indiscriminate use of loudspeakers. People need to be made aware of the negative impacts of their actions and encouraged to show empathy towards their fellow citizens. Only when everyone is conscious of the harmful effects of excessive noise pollution can we hope to live peacefully together.
Thank you for considering my perspective on this matter.
Yours faithfully,

Subject : Prayer for taking steps to stop the indiscriminate use of loudspeaker.
Sir,
With due honour, I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Brahmanbaria Municipality, beg to inform you that the law and order situation of the municipality has deteriorated tremendously in the recent months. Serious environmental pollution in the town is a great threat to a decent life. Like many other pollutions, sound pollution has become very acute/ serious in this town. Mikes and audio-videos are used at different shops and hotels at high volume to draw the attention of the customers. Besides, the loud speakers and the mikes are used on many occasions for listening to music at high volume. All there things cause acute sound pollution. The acute sound pollution causes serious problems to the students, children and the patients. The serious sound pollution is very harmful to our hearing and nerves.
I, therefore, you are requested to take necessary steps to control the serious sound pollution and lessen our sufferings to lead a decent life.
Yours faithfully,
Zaman,
On behalf of the inhabitants of Brahmanbaria Municipality.

Sir,
Through your esteemed daily, I wish to highlight the concerns of our community regarding the widespread and indiscriminate use of loudspeakers.
Indiscriminate Use of Loudspeakers
The invention of loudspeakers was meant to enhance communication and make life more convenient. However, their misuse has transformed them into sources of discomfort. While initially designed to amplify the speaker's voice to reach a wide audience, loudspeakers are now causing disturbances in our daily lives.
These devices are extensively used during social and festive occasions such as weddings, picnics, and birthday celebrations. However, their most disruptive impact is felt in roadside restaurants, where the incessant noise disrupts the surrounding environment. From morning until midnight, the deafening sound pollution interferes with normal activities and affects the concentration of students trying to study. The owners of these establishments seem to disregard the fact that educational institutions, offices, hospitals, and other organizations are located nearby, and that maintaining silence is crucial for their functioning. Moreover, loudspeakers can disturb bedridden patients and individuals engaged in prayer, disrupting both daily peace and nocturnal serenity.
We urge the relevant authorities to address this issue and take necessary measures to curb the indiscriminate use of loudspeakers.
Sincerely yours,
D. Hossain
