Dear Habib,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. It is always a pleasure to hear from you, and I am glad to know that you had a wonderful time on your picnic. I am sorry I could not reply to your previous letters earlier as I was caught up with my studies and other commitments.
Reading about your picnic brought back fond memories of our school days when we used to plan and go on trips together. I can imagine how exciting it must have been for you and your friends to explore the tea garden in Sylhet. It is always refreshing to spend time in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
I am happy to know that the food was delicious and that you all enjoyed cooking together. It is always fun to cook with friends and experiment with new recipes. I am sure Rima did an excellent job as the head chef!
I am also glad to know that you all enjoyed singing and dancing. Music has a way of bringing people together and creating a joyful atmosphere. I can imagine the fun you all had on the way back home as well.
Please do convey my regards to your parents and give my compliments to your friends who went on the picnic with you. I hope we can plan a trip together soon and relive some of our old memories. Take care and keep in touch.
Yours ever,
Samir

Dear Rana,
I hope this letter finds you well. I received your letter dated the 5th instant, where you expressed your regret at not being able to join us on the picnic. I understand, but let me share with you the wonderful experience we had during the outing.
As planned, we chose Sonargaon as our picnic spot. Our group consisted of about thirty-five individuals, including one of our teachers. We set off early in the morning, reaching Sonargaon by bus around 9 a.m. We brought along all the necessary utensils and materials for the day.
Upon arrival, we wasted no time and enjoyed a hearty breakfast by 9:30 a.m. Our designated cook got to work, and we all chipped in with various tasks. Some of us helped with cooking, while others engaged in singing, cracking jokes, and playing games. It was a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and camaraderie.
By 2 p.m., the delicious lunch was ready, and we were all famished. We sat down together and savored our meal with great gusto. After lunch, we embarked on a sightseeing tour of Sonargaon. The historical significance of the place, being once the capital of Bengal, fascinated us all. The highlight of the trip was visiting the Sonargaon museum, where we learned about the rich history and culture of the region.
As the day drew to a close, we reluctantly bid farewell to Sonargaon and headed back home around 5 p.m., after enjoying a refreshing cup of tea.
The picnic was truly enjoyable, and the memories we created will be cherished forever. However, we couldn't help but feel your absence keenly. Your presence would have added to the joyous atmosphere. We missed you dearly throughout the day.
I hope this description gives you a glimpse into the wonderful time we had. Looking forward to catching up with you soon.
With warm regards and best wishes,
Tahseen

My dear ‘Mizan’,
I am very glad to receive your letter. In your letter you wanted to know about our recent picnic. I am happy to let you know about that picnic.
It was a school holiday. We were 55 in number. We arranged a picnic at Bagerhat. It is a historically important place. Five of our teachers accompanied us as our guide. We hired a bus and started for Bagerhat from our school campus early in the morning. We reached the mazar of Khan Zahan Ali before noon. On the east bank of the big tank we set up our camp. After having breakfast, we went to the mosque of sixty domes. There we paid respect to the departed soul of the Saint Khan Zahan Ali. Its architectural elegance impressed us all. After one hour we returned to our camp. Beside the camp we played games and had a lot of amusements. Then we hired a cook to cook delicious lunch. As we were very hungry, we ate our lunch to our heart’s content. Then we rested for sometime and went round to have a look at other important sights. At about 5 p.m. we set out for the school. On the way to school, we all sang and had jokes in the bus. After dusk we arrived at the school. It was a day to remember for a long time. But I regret I missed you.
I am pretty well and hope that you are in good health. With love and best wishes.
Ever yours,
Fahim

Dear ‘Sohel’,
I have received your letter of the 5th instant. In it you expressed your inability to join us in the picnic. You also wanted to know my experience in the picnic. Here is a short description of the same.
We selected Sonargaon for the picnic spot. We were about thirty-five in number including one of our teachers. We reached there by bus at 9 a.m. with all necessary utensils and materials. After reaching Sonargaon, we finished our breakfast by 9.30 a.m. We had a cook with us. He became busy with cooking. We helped him in different works. Some were cooking, some were singing, some were cutting jokes and others were playing different types of games.
At about 2 p.m. the lunch was ready. By this time all of us became very hungry. All of us took our lunch with full appetite. After lunch we went out for sight seeing. You know Sonargaon is a place of historical interest. It was once the capital of Bengal. The museum of Sonargaon charmed us most. We started for home at 5 p.m. after taking our tea.
We enjoyed the picnic most and the day will ever be remembered. What a pleasure it would have been if you had been in the midst of us! Really, we missed you very much. This is all for today. With love and best wishes.
Yours ever,
Tahseen
