I have just received your letter. You wanted to know how we celebrated the victory day in our school. As this is a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh, we observed the day in a gorgeous manner.

At first we decorated our school premises nicely with various types of coloured papers, balloons and leaves. It was started at 8.00 a.m. The national flag was hoisted by our honourable Headmaster. We all saluted the flag. Then we sang our National Anthem at 8.15 a.m. A day long programme was there including sports and games, discussions, meetings and cultural programme. As the general secretary of school, I had to conduct the function from beginning to end. I believe, I was successful in performing all sides of the function. At 5.00 p.m. the function came to an end. In short, we observed the day up to our full satisfaction.

Dear Tania,

I hope you are hale and hearty. I received your letter last week but could not reply immediately because I was busy with our college programs. Today, I am going to tell you how we celebrated the Victory Day of Bangladesh on the 16th of December at our campus.

The day holds immense emotion and pride for us. The program started early in the morning with the hoisting of the national flag and the singing of our National Anthem. After that, we gathered in the college auditorium for a discussion meeting where our principal and teachers spoke about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The most exciting part was the cultural segment. The students took part in singing patriotic songs and performing dances that highlighted the spirit of the liberation war. My friends and I participated in a beautiful short play titled "Abaar Ekattur," which moved many people in the audience to tears. At the very end of the event, the college authority screened the famous documentary film "Muktir Gaan". Watching it made us feel incredibly proud of our nation's history.

I hope you are well. I am also fine. I received your letter yesterday and today I want to tell you about the celebration of Victory Day in our college.

On 16th December, our college celebrated Victory Day with great respect and enthusiasm. The day began early in the morning. Our teachers and students gathered in the college campus. The national flag was hoisted, and we all sang the national anthem with great pride. Everyone remembered the brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country.

After that, a discussion program was held in the college auditorium. Teachers and students gave speeches about the importance of Victory Day and the history of our independence war. It was very inspiring and educational for all of us.

We also arranged a cultural program. Students performed patriotic songs, poems, and dances. The whole atmosphere became joyful and emotional at the same time. A special prayer was offered for the martyrs of our Liberation War.
