Sir,
With due respect and humble submission, I beg to state that ours is a very old and large college in the district. It has a good reputation (1-iTw for its better results and better education. It has also earned a great fame for extra curricular activities. We enjoy almost all academic facilities here. There is a rich library for us in our college. But there is no reading room in our college library. A reading room is also a very useful part of a library as well as a college. There are many kinds of valuable books on different branches of our college library. But we can not read them during our leisure hours and off periods for want of a reading room. As a result , we have to spend our free time and leisure hours only by reading newspapers and magazines in our college common room. It is true that a'readin5 room plays a vital role in making better results in the exams. Now, we badly feel the necessity and the value of a reading room adjacent to our college library.
May I, therefore, pray and hope that you would kindly open a modern reading room adjacent to our college library so that we can spend our free time and leisure periods by reading necessary books, journals and magazines there.

We, the students of your school, beg to approach you with the prayer and hope that you would be kind enough to grant our wish sympathetically.
Ours is a big school with about two thousand students but we do not have any common room / reading room in our school premises. So, we are badly in need of it for a long time. It is true that we can develop our knowledge and mental faculties in touch with a common room / reading room where the news of our country and other countries of the world will remain available. That is to say, we should have some important newspapers, magazines, weeklies, bi-weeklies, etc. in our common room / reading room. Besides, we should have the arrangement of indoor game facilities in it. Consequently, we may enjoy reading newspapers and indoor games in the interval.
In the above circumstances, we fervently pray that you will take all necessary steps to arrange a common room / reading room in our school premises for the interest of the students as early as possible and oblige thereby.
