My dear Arif,
Your letter is just to hand. In it you have clearly stated about your village. I became really enchanted knowing about the beauty of your village. Indeed the description you presented fascinates any nature lover like me. However, you showed keen interest to know about my village. Well, here it is.
With the green fields and with the cool and calm shade of the trees our village stands on the river. The name of our village is . It is in the district of Feni. About five thousand people live in our village. Most of them are Muslims. There are also a few Hindus, Buddhists and Christians. They live in peace and harmony. The villages are mostly farmers or labourers. Some are potters, weavers, blacksmiths, fishermen and so on. There is a big market in our village. It is the heart of our village which throbs with the activities of the villagers. There are some brick- built buildings such as the mosque and primary and high school building. There are also a post office, a health-care centre and community centre. Our village has a good road, which links the village with the highway. The village is rich in cultural activities like ‘Jatra’, ‘Jarigan’, boat-race and bullock-race. Our village is also famous for cottage industries. Our village is a peaceful village with a number of educated people. I am proud of our village and pray for its peace, progress and prosperity. I hope this could meet your curiosity about my village.
This is all for today. Hope to hear from you.
With love and best wishes.
Yours ever,

My dear Arif,
I hope you’re doing well. It’s been ages since we last spoke, and I’ve been meaning to write to you. Today, I want to tell you about my village—a place that I hold close to my heart. I know you’ve always been interested in knowing more about where I live, so here’s a detailed glimpse into my little paradise.
My village is nestled in the lap of nature, surrounded by lush green fields, tall trees, and gentle hills. The mornings here are magical. As soon as the sun rises, the air fills with the melodious chirping of birds, and a cool breeze sweeps through the fields. There’s a beautiful river that flows not far from my home. Its crystal-clear water glistens in the sunlight, and the sound of its gentle current is soothing. Many of us spend time there, fishing, swimming, or simply enjoying the peace it offers.
Life here is simple and serene. The people in my village are kind-hearted and always ready to lend a helping hand. Everyone knows each other, and we celebrate every occasion as one big family. The local market is the heart of our village. It’s a bustling place where fresh vegetables, fruits, and handmade goods are sold. On market days, the streets come alive with laughter and lively conversations. It’s a place where you can truly feel the vibrant spirit of the village.
What makes my village even more special are the festivals. Whether it’s a traditional harvest celebration or a religious festival, the entire village comes together to decorate the streets, prepare delicious food, and enjoy cultural performances. One of my favorite festivals is the kite festival, where the sky is filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes. It’s a sight you’d love to see!
I often think of how wonderful it would be if you could visit. We could walk through the fields, enjoy a picnic by the river, and explore the vibrant market together. You’d love the fresh air, the natural beauty, and the warmth of the people. I’m sure my village would leave you with unforgettable memories.
Please write back and let me know how you’ve been. I’d love to hear about what’s happening in your life. Until then, take care and stay safe!
With love and best wishes.
Yours ever,
Abidur
