Dear Friend,
I am delighted to receive your letter inquiring about the recent prize giving ceremony held at our college. Allow me to provide you with a detailed account of the event.
The ceremony was held yesterday at our college campus, which was adorned with delightful decorations. The event commenced at 2 pm with our respected Principal presiding over the function, while the honourable Education Minister graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony started with the recitation from the holy Quran, which was followed by the reading of the annual report by one of our senior teachers.
The chief guest then delivered a motivational speech, urging us to remain focused in our studies and participate in the fight against illiteracy. Following that, he presented the awards to the deserving students. I was fortunate enough to receive two prizes, one for maintaining regular attendance and the other for achieving outstanding results in the previous year-end exams.
The president of the function then delivered a speech, congratulating the winners and consoling those who could not make it. Our Principal also expressed his sincere gratitude to the chief guest and all those who made the event possible.
Overall, the ceremony was a grand success, and it filled us with a sense of pride and accomplishment. I hope this account provides you with the information you sought. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The event took place under a large pandal set up in our school campus, where our Headmaster presided over the ceremony, and the honourable Education Minister graced us with his presence as the chief guest. Upon his arrival, the scouts of our school gave him a guard of honour.
The ceremony started at 10 a.m. with a recitation from the Holy Quran, after which our Headmaster presented the Annual Report of the school. Then, the chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners, and I was fortunate enough to receive three prizes for standing first in the class, good handwriting, and good character.
After the distribution of the prizes, the chief guest congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue their success in the future while also instilling the importance of discipline and character building to become valuable members of society. The assistant headmaster then expressed his gratitude to the guests for their presence.
Finally, the students of our school arranged a cultural program, which entertained all the guests. It was an enjoyable day for everyone, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.

I am glad to tell you that our annual prize giving ceremony came off yesterday. It was an important day in my life. Here I give you an account of it.
The school building was decorated very nicely. A gate decorated with leaves, flowers, coloured papers was erected. The Deputy Commissioner, Chittagong presided over the function. The ceremony began at 10 am with the recitation from the Holy Quran. There was a variety of performance for one hour. Songs, recitations, instrumental music and comics were the items in it. Then our Headmaster read out the annual report of our school. Next the Assistant Headmaster called out the names of the prize - winners one by one and the President handed over the prizes with an affectionate smile to each. I also got a prize as I became the best debater in the Inter class Debate Competition of our school.
After the prize-distribution was over, the President made a nice little speech. The Headmaster gave a vote of thanks to the chair and to the guests. On the whole the occasion was pleasant and impressive. With love and best wishes.
Yours ever,
Rifat
