IELTS Speaking Part-1 Staying at home

Do you like to go out or stay at home?

If I had to choose, I’d prefer staying at home because I can’t stand the hustle and bustle of city life. Going out is also time-consuming, as it requires careful grooming and preparation. In contrast, staying at home allows me to relax and idly pass the time without any pressure.

How much time do you spend at home?

As a full-time worker, I’m usually only at home in the evenings, which is quite unfortunate. I often wish I had more time to spend at home with my family.

What do you do at home?

After a long day at work, I’m usually too exhausted to engage in anything strenuous. Instead, I unwind by browsing through my smartphone and logging into Facebook to catch up on the day’s events.

What did you do at home when you were a child?

When I was a child, I used to play with the toys my mother gave me. There wasn’t anything particularly special about it; I simply enjoyed spending time alone and being in my own company.
