Does it rain much in your country? (Where? When?)

Yes, it does rain quite a bit in my country. During the summer, especially from June to August, tropical storms bring torrential rain. The rainfall is generally higher in the northern regions compared to the southern parts.

Is there any part of your country where it doesn’t rain much?

To be honest, I don’t give a hoot about the specifics of rainfall distribution in my country. However, I believe the northern regions experience the most rainfall due to their intricate system of rivers.

Does it rain a lot in your hometown?

It depends on the season. In winter and spring, there is a dearth of rain, with arid weather dominating. On the other hand, summer and August usually bring rain cats and dogs, which can cause significant problems for people traveling on the road.

Can you remember any time when it rained particularly heavily in your hometown?

Yes, last summer stands out. I was heading to work when all of a sudden, it began to rain, followed by a deluge. I was soaked to the skin and ended up missing a very important meeting.

Does rain ever affect transportation in your hometown?

Absolutely. Rain often holds up traffic, causing roads to become clogged and leading to severe traffic congestion. I usually prefer to stay home and watch TV rather than deal with the hassle of being stuck in traffic.
