THE WILD ANIMAL I LIKE BEST

Our forests are full of wild animals and birds. Among them, the tiger is remarkable. I like it best/most. A kind of tiger, named ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’ is our national animal and it is our pride. The tiger is a nocturnal animal. It is active at night and covers long distances in a short time. It is known as a ferocious animal. The normal life span of a tiger is 20 years. A full grown-up tiger is six to seven feet in length. A tiger has very long sharp and pointed teeth with which he tears his prey to pieces. The tiger’s jaws are so strong that it can crush a human skull like an eggshell. The paws of a tiger are cushioned so that it can creep noiselessly through the woods. As the tiger is carnivorous, it preys on wild pigs, deer and antelopes. It also eats any kind of meat, including reptiles, birds and fish. The tiger is a swift hunter. It usually charges the victim from the side or the rear. Today tigers are in danger. Only about 50,000 tigers are left in the world. So, steps should be taken to preserve this animal.

In our country, we have a specific type of tiger known as the 'Royal Bengal Tiger,' which serves as our national animal and a source of pride.Tigers are known to be nocturnal creatures, meaning they are most active during the night and can cover long distances in a short period. They have earned a reputation for their ferocity and strength. The average lifespan of a tiger is around 20 years, and a fully grown tiger can measure between six to seven feet in length. Tigers possess exceptionally long, sharp, and pointed teeth that they use to tear apart their prey. Their powerful jaws are capable of crushing a human skull as easily as an eggshell. Tigers have cushioned paws that enable them to move silently through the woods without making a sound. Being carnivorous, they primarily prey on animals like wild pigs, deer, and antelopes. However, they are not picky eaters and will consume various types of meat, including reptiles, birds, and fish. Tigers are known for their speed and agility as hunters, often charging their prey from the side or rear.Today, tigers are facing a grave threat. Their population has dwindled, and there are only around 50,000 tigers left in the world. It is crucial that we take immediate steps to conserve and protect this magnificent animal to ensure its survival
