• বাংলা অনুবাদ (Bengali Translation): একদা এক সৎ ও ধার্মিক লোক ছিলেন। তাঁর নাম ছিল আবু বেন আযম। একদিন তিনি শান্তিতে ঘুমাচ্ছিলেন। হঠাৎ তিনি জেগে উঠলেন এবং একজন দেবদূতকে দেখতে পেলেন। দেবদূতটি এমন লোকদের নাম লিখছিলেন যাঁরা ঈশ্বরকে ভালোবাসেন। তিনি দেবদূতকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন যে তাঁর নাম সেখানে আছে কিনা। উত্তরে দেবদূত বললেন যে তাঁর নাম সেখানে নেই। আবু তখন তাঁকে তালিকায় তাঁর নাম লিখতে অনুরোধ করলেন কারণ তিনি মানবজাতি ও তাঁর ভাইদের ভালোবাসতেন। দেবদূত তাঁর অনুরোধটি লিখে নিলেন এবং চলে গেলেন। পরের রাতে তিনি আবার আবির্ভূত হলেন এবং আবুকে দেখালেন যে তাঁর নাম তালিকার শীর্ষে রয়েছে।

One day he was on hunting a deer in the jungle. He shot an arrow aiming at a fawn. The arrow missed its aim. By chance, it pierced a boy standing in the jungle. The boy instantly died.

• বাংলা অনুবাদ (Bengali Translation): অনেক আগে, বাংলায় একজন সুলতান ছিলেন। তাঁর নাম ছিল গিয়াসউদ্দিন আজম। ঢাকার কাছে সোনারগাঁও ছিল তাঁর রাজধানী। তিনি একজন অত্যন্ত ন্যায়পরায়ণ ও দয়ালু শাসক ছিলেন। সুলতানের শখ ছিল শিকার করা। একদিন তিনি জঙ্গলে একটি হরিণ শিকার করছিলেন। তিনি একটি হরিণশাবককে লক্ষ্য করে তীর ছুঁড়লেন। তীরটি লক্ষ্যভ্রষ্ট হলো। দুর্ভাগ্যবশত, এটি জঙ্গলে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা একটি বালককে বিদ্ধ করল। বালকটি তৎক্ষণাৎ মারা গেল।
