To be perfectly honest, I can’t recall any time that I have gone somewhere to write, I’m not really into writing but there is a place that I go to when I have the chance and I do read there from time to time. It’s a popular little café in my hometown... I’m not entirely sure what it’s called because I just call it by the owner’s name – Simon’s. I’ve been going there for years and so I guess you could call me a regular. I’m addicted to coffee and he makes the best coffee I’ve ever tasted.

All the staff know me so I don’t have to tell them my order because I have the same thing every time – a triple shot cappuccino. I am a creature of habit* and I love the taste of the strong milky coffee. Depending on the time of day that I go, I might get a bite to eat as well. Oh, I seem to be going off topic slightly, sorry, so I tend to go there a couple of times a week at least/at most and most of the time I’m just on my phone, catching up on social media, but I suppose that counts as reading, doesn’t it?

Who do I go with? Usually, I’m on my own because I might be on my way to work or it could be during my lunch break. If I’ve had a hard day and need some caffeine to pick me up, then I’ll call in on my way home. I don’t have a specific time. I’d love to have the time to go there every day, but I’ve got a heavy workload at the moment.

As for how I feel about this café, well I love it because I feel at home there. Like I said, I know all the staff and they know exactly how I take my coffee so I know I’m not going to be dissatisfied and I can sit there in my own little world and chill for ten minutes or so.

Although I don’t often write outside my home, there is a charming café in my hometown where I frequently go to read. This little café, which I affectionately call Simon’s after its owner, is a beloved spot that I’ve been visiting for years. It’s not a huge place, but its cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat.

I’m a regular there, which means that the staff know me well. I don’t need to specify my order anymore; they automatically prepare my favorite drink—a triple shot cappuccino. I’m quite the creature of habit* and savor the strong, creamy taste of my usual coffee. Depending on the time of day, I might also grab a bite to eat, but my main reason for visiting is to enjoy a good read or catch up on social media, which I suppose counts as reading in a way.

I usually go to Simon’s a couple of times a week, sometimes alone during my lunch break or on my way to work. If I’ve had a particularly stressful day, I’ll stop by on my way home for a much-needed caffeine boost. While I’d love to visit more frequently, my current heavy workload limits my visits.

What I love about this café is its welcoming atmosphere. The familiarity of the staff and the consistent quality of the coffee make me feel at home. I can unwind there, lost in my own little world, for a brief escape from the daily grind. The café’s comfortable and relaxed environment provides the perfect backdrop for reading or just taking a moment to yourself.
