Write an application to the Principal of your college requesting permission and administrative support to organize a Youth Leadership Conference on campus.
15 June 2026
The Principal,
Dhaka City College,
Dhaka.
Subject: Application for permission to organize a Youth Leadership Conference.
Sir,
With due respect and humble submission, we, the students of your esteemed college, would like to draw your kind attention to a proposal that will significantly benefit our student body. We are highly enthusiastic about organizing a comprehensive Youth Leadership Conference on our college campus next month.
In today’s highly competitive global landscape, academic excellence alone is no longer sufficient for future success. Students desperately need to develop vital soft skills, including public speaking, team management, and critical problem-solving abilities. Unfortunately, our regular academic syllabus provides very limited opportunities to practically cultivate these essential leadership qualities outside of standard classroom lectures.
A Youth Leadership Conference would serve as the perfect platform to bridge this gap. We have planned a two-day event featuring interactive workshops, structured debate sessions, and motivational speeches from invited corporate leaders and university professors. To successfully execute this event, we kindly request your permission to utilize the main college auditorium and seek the administrative support of our teaching faculty to help guide the organizing committee.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us the permission to host this valuable conference and provide the necessary institutional support, thereby obliging us.
Yours obediently,
Sajid Hasan
On behalf of the organizing committee
Write a formal email to the Chairman of the School Management Committee seeking permission and financial allocation to host an inter-school Youth Leadership Conference.
Subject: Proposal for hosting an inter-school Youth Leadership Conference
Dear Sir,
I am writing to formally propose a major extracurricular initiative that will greatly enhance the reputation of our institution. On behalf of the student council, I would like to request your permission and administrative backing to host an inter-school Youth Leadership Conference on our school premises during the upcoming autumn break.
While our school consistently produces outstanding board examination results, we have noticed that many of our brilliant students lack the practical confidence to lead community projects or articulate their ideas publicly. It is crucial that we start preparing our senior students for the practical challenges of university life and professional careers by actively nurturing their organizational and leadership skills.
We propose inviting student delegations from five neighboring schools to participate in this day-long collaborative event. The conference will include team-building exercises, public speaking competitions, and a keynote address by a renowned local entrepreneur. To make this event a success, we require your formal approval to use the central school hall, as well as a small budget allocation from the school fund to cover the costs of certificates, guest honorariums, and basic refreshments.
I strongly urge the management committee to review this educational proposal, as it will provide immense practical value to our students. I look forward to your positive response and would be grateful for the opportunity to present the full event schedule at your convenience.
Best regards,
Sajid Hasan
President, Student Council
