Part B—Writing (Marks—40)
10. Write a paragraph on "Traffic Jam" (Marks 10)
Traffic Jam
Traffic jam is a common and burning problem in the big cities of Bangladesh. It is a situation where vehicles get stuck on the road for a long time, leading to a standstill in movement. There are several reasons behind this persistent issue. The primary cause is the rapid increase in the number of vehicles, which far exceeds the capacity of our narrow and poorly planned roads. Additionally, many drivers lack proper training and often violate traffic rules by parking vehicles anywhere they please. Street vendors occupying sidewalks force pedestrians to walk on the road, further reducing the space available for traffic. The lack of efficient traffic management and the tendency of drivers to overtake recklessly also worsen the situation. The effects of traffic jam are severe. It causes immense suffering to commuters, makes students late for school, and prevents patients from reaching hospitals on time, which can sometimes be fatal. It also hinders industrial productivity and creates mental stress for everyone. To solve this problem, the authorities should widen the roads, construct more flyovers, and strictly enforce traffic laws. Furthermore, public awareness is essential. If we all follow traffic regulations and act responsibly, we can certainly alleviate this unbearable crisis and ensure smoother movement on our roads.
11. Application to the Headmaster for increasing library facilities
24 May 2026
The Headmaster
Rahimanagar High School
Subject: Prayer for increasing library facilities.
Sir,
I am writing to you on behalf of the students of your reputed school. We are proud of our school’s academic standard; however, we are facing difficulties due to the inadequate facilities in our school library. At present, the library is not well-furnished, lacks a comfortable seating arrangement, and, most importantly, is short of necessary reference books and current journals. As a library is the heart of a school, the lack of these facilities prevents us from enriching our knowledge beyond our textbooks.
I, therefore, hope that you would kindly take the necessary steps to renovate the library, increase the collection of books, and improve the seating arrangements to create a conducive environment for study.
Sincerely yours,
Rina / Rynan Class: X, Roll: 08 On behalf of the students of Rahimanagar High School
12. Composition on "Your Aim in Life" (Marks 20)
My Aim in Life
A life without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. To succeed in any field, one must have a clear vision and a well-defined goal. An aimless person drifts through life without purpose. Therefore, selecting a specific career early on is essential for a meaningful existence. My aim in life is to become a doctor.
I have chosen to be a doctor because it is one of the noblest professions in the world. Bangladesh is a developing country where millions of people, especially in rural areas, suffer from a lack of proper medical care. Many people lose their lives simply because they cannot afford or access doctors. I want to serve these suffering people and contribute to society by providing medical aid to those in need.
To achieve this goal, I am currently studying with great dedication, focusing heavily on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I follow a disciplined routine, ensuring I understand every concept thoroughly. After passing the HSC examination, I plan to get admitted into a reputed medical college. I am also reading books outside my syllabus to broaden my general knowledge and improve my vocabulary. I know the path is long and challenging, but I am prepared to work hard.
My ultimate dream is not to accumulate wealth, but to serve humanity. After completing my medical degree, I intend to open a small clinic in my village or a remote area where medical facilities are scarce. I want to provide affordable treatment to the poor who cannot afford the high costs of private hospitals. I believe that being a doctor gives me the power to save lives, and there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a patient smile after recovery.
I am well aware that the road to becoming a doctor requires immense patience and perseverance. I am trying to build a strong foundation of knowledge and developing a character defined by empathy, kindness, and sincerity. I also participate in community volunteer work to understand the struggles of common people, which I believe will help me become a more compassionate doctor.
Becoming a doctor is a responsibility as much as it is a career. It requires a commitment to lifelong learning and service. I am fully dedicated to my goal and am working relentlessly to make it a reality. I pray to the Almighty to grant me the strength, wisdom, and sincerity required to serve the suffering humanity of my country with excellence and compassion.
