10. Write a paragraph on "A Street Accident". (Marks 10)

A Street Accident

A street accident is a sudden and tragic occurrence that takes place on the road, often resulting in death, injury, and destruction of property. It is a common incident in our country, occurring almost every day due to various reasons. The primary causes of street accidents include reckless driving, the tendency of drivers to overtake others, the violation of traffic rules, and the lack of awareness among pedestrians. Many drivers, especially those of buses and trucks, often drive at high speeds to compete with others, ignoring the safety of passengers and pedestrians. Additionally, narrow roads, the poor condition of vehicles, and the presence of unskilled drivers further contribute to this menace. The consequences of street accidents are devastating; they cause the loss of valuable lives, leaving families in deep sorrow and causing physical disabilities for many survivors. Furthermore, accidents cause significant economic loss as vehicles are damaged and people are unable to work. To prevent this, we must enforce strict traffic laws, conduct regular training for drivers, and raise public awareness. Pedestrians should also be cautious while crossing the road. Only by working together can we ensure safer roads for everyone.

12. Write a composition on "Your Favourite Game". (Marks 20)

The Game I Like Most

Games and sports are essential for our physical and mental health. A sound mind lives in a sound body, and sports help maintain that balance. I enjoy various games like cricket, badminton, and volleyball; however, football is the game I like the most. It is one of the most popular sports globally and is played with great enthusiasm in our country.

Football is an outdoor game played on a large rectangular field. It is played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players. The duration of a standard football match is 90 minutes, divided into two halves of 45 minutes each, with a short interval. There is a referee to conduct the game and ensure that the rules are followed strictly. The main objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team by pushing the ball into the opponent's goal post using feet, head, or chest, while the goalkeeper defends the goal.

I love football because it is a fast-paced game that demands both physical strength and mental agility. Watching a live football match is an electrifying experience. The way players dribble the ball, pass it with precision, and score goals is truly fascinating. I often play football with my friends in the school field every afternoon. It gives me a sense of joy, freedom, and competitiveness that I do not find in other activities.

Playing football has numerous benefits. It improves physical fitness, enhances stamina, and strengthens the muscles. Beyond physical health, it teaches valuable life lessons such as team spirit, discipline, leadership, and patience. In a football team, players must work together, respect each other’s roles, and strive toward a common goal, which is a great lesson for real life. It also keeps us away from bad company and helps us maintain a disciplined daily routine.

In conclusion, football is not just a game but a source of immense joy and vitality. It keeps me active and refreshed after the tiring academic activities of the day. Because of its excitement, health benefits, and the lessons it teaches about teamwork, football remains my favorite game, and I hope to continue playing it for a long time.
