Answer to the Question No. 13

The Headmaster Arabpur

ABC Academy

Sadar, Jhenaidah.

Subject: Prayer for organizing a debating club.

Sir, We, the students of your school, beg most respectfully to state that our school is one of the most renowned schools in our district. We have all the facilities for co-curricular activities like sports and cultural programs, but there is no debating club in our school.

Debate is an important co-curricular activity that helps us to develop our logic, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. It increases our confidence and helps us to express our opinions clearly. Many of us are very interested in practicing debate. We believe that a debating club would provide us with an excellent platform to nurture our talents. We also believe that our school can earn a good name by participating in various inter-school debating competitions.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take the necessary steps to organize a debating club in our school and oblige thereby.

Yours most obediently, Nabila Nabila Class: IX, Roll no: 01 On behalf of the students of Arabpur

ABC Academy.

Answer to the Question No. 14

My Homeland

The name of my homeland is Bangladesh. It is a small but beautiful country in South Asia. I love my homeland more than anything else in the world because I was born and brought up here. Bangladesh is a land of natural beauty, with countless rivers flowing through its green paddy fields. The scenic beauty of its villages, hills, and the Sundarbans mangrove forest is truly enchanting. My country has a glorious history. We achieved our independence in 1971 after a nine-month-long Liberation War, sacrificing millions of lives. Bengali is our mother tongue, and we are proud of our rich culture, traditions, and literature. We celebrate various festivals like Pahela Baishakh, Eid, and Durga Puja with great enthusiasm and harmony. The people of my country are simple, friendly, and very hospitable. Though we face many challenges like floods and poverty, we are a resilient nation, always striving for a better future. I feel very proud to be a citizen of this wonderful country, and it is my sacred duty to work for its progress and prosperity.
