Answer to the Question No. 13

July 25, 2025

The Headmaster

Kobi Nazrul High School Chattogram.

Subject: Application for enhancing multimedia classroom facilities.

Sir, We, the students of your school, would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that we are living in an age of science and technology. Modern education systems all over the world rely heavily on technology, and multimedia classrooms are an essential part of it. Multimedia facilities make learning more interactive, engaging, and easier to understand.

While we are fortunate to have some multimedia classrooms in our school, the facilities are very poor and outdated. The projectors are old and often display blurry images, the sound systems are not clear, and we do not have modern equipment like smart boards. As a result, we are not getting the full benefit of modern educational tools and are lagging behind other schools.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to enhance our multimedia classroom facilities with modern equipment like high-resolution projectors, clear sound systems, and interactive smart boards, and oblige thereby.

Yours obediently,

The Students of Kobi Nazrul High School.

Answer to the Question No. 14

The Bad Impacts of Deforestation

Trees are an invaluable gift of nature and are essential for our survival on Earth. Deforestation, which is the large-scale cutting down of trees, has numerous bad impacts on our environment and life. The most alarming impact of deforestation is climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas, but when forests are cleared, this gas remains in the atmosphere, trapping heat and causing global warming. This leads to rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and disruption of ecosystems. Another severe impact is the loss of biodiversity. Forests are home to millions of species of plants and animals. When we destroy forests, we destroy their habitats, pushing many species towards extinction. Deforestation also leads to soil erosion. The roots of trees hold the soil together. Without trees, the topsoil is easily washed away by rain, which reduces land fertility and can cause devastating landslides and floods. Furthermore, deforestation disrupts the water cycle, often leading to decreased rainfall and turning fertile lands into deserts. This greatly affects agriculture and the availability of fresh water. In short, the consequences of cutting down trees are catastrophic, and we must take immediate action to stop deforestation to save our planet.

Answer to the Question No. 15

A Journey I Have Recently Enjoyed

A journey is always a source of great pleasure and learning, and it becomes even more special when it is to a place of immense natural beauty. Recently, during the last winter vacation, I had the opportunity to enjoy such a journey with my family to Cox's Bazar, the longest sea beach in the world.

We started our journey from Dhaka by an overnight bus. The excitement of the journey kept me awake for most of the night. As we got closer to Chattogram and then Cox's Bazar, the scenery outside the window started to change, with green hills and paddy fields creating a beautiful landscape. We reached our hotel in the morning, and after a short rest, we rushed to the beach.

The sight of the vast sea was simply breathtaking. The endless blue water, the roaring waves crashing on the shore, and the cool sea breeze instantly refreshed my mind. I had never seen the sea before, and I was mesmerized by its grandeur. We spent hours walking along the beach, swimming in the waves, and collecting seashells. The sunset was another magical experience. Watching the sun sink into the sea, painting the sky with shades of orange and red, was a sight I will never forget.

The next day, we visited Himchhari waterfall and Inani Beach, which is famous for its coral stones. We also enjoyed fresh seafood at a local restaurant and did some shopping at the Burmese market. Every moment of the trip was filled with joy and new experiences.

The three-day trip passed by in a flash. The return journey was filled with a sweet sadness, but the beautiful memories of the sea, the waves, and the sunset remain fresh in my mind. It was truly the most enjoyable journey of my life, and it has left a lasting impression on me.
