Unfortunately, upon using the product for the very first time, I discovered that it is severely malfunctioning. The automatic warm-keeping sensor is completely broken, which causes the primary heating coil to stay on continuously. As a result, the appliance severely burns the rice at the bottom and emits a highly concerning smell of melting plastic, posing a serious fire hazard for our kitchen.


Since the product was purchased only a few days ago, it is fully covered under the company’s one-year official replacement warranty. I have immediately stopped using the hazardous appliance and repacked it in its original box along with all the accessories and the signed warranty card. I strongly request you to inspect the defective unit and issue a completely fresh replacement instead of attempting a temporary repair.


I have attached a photocopy of the original purchase receipt with this letter for your initial reference. I earnestly hope that you will take prompt action to resolve this frustrating issue and uphold the high reputation of your company's customer service.

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding a defective electric rice cooker that I received from your official online store yesterday. I purchased the appliance on June 12, 2026, trusting the high manufacturing quality and reliability that your brand usually promises to its regular customers.


However, my experience with this specific unit has been incredibly frustrating due to a major technical defect. When I plugged the device in and pressed the main power button, the cooking indicator light failed to turn on, and the internal heating plate remained completely stone cold. After waiting for over thirty minutes, it became obvious that the internal electrical circuit was completely dead on arrival.


As a paying customer, I find it highly unacceptable to receive a non-functional product right out of the sealed box. Since the appliance is well within the official seven-day return and replacement window, I demand an immediate replacement of this faulty unit with a brand new, fully tested one. I have attached the digital invoice, the scanned warranty document, and a short video clip clearly showing the electrical defect to this email.


I strongly request your customer support team to arrange a reverse pickup from my registered delivery address as soon as possible. I look forward to a swift response and a completely hassle-free replacement process to resolve this massive inconvenience.
