4-Day Science Fair in Monipur High School

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2018: The Science Fair 2022 was held recently at Monipur High School amid enthusiasm of young scientists displaying various innovative projects. Wasima Parveen, Deputy Chairperson, and Mira Murshed, Head of Academics, were among the judges who assessed all the projects at the fair.

Contestants presented their science project results in the form of a report, display board, and models that they have created. A few creative students of Class IX have successfully built a cheap car, which they believe will cut down environmental pollution because it runs on batteries, and will also allow more people to have access to cars because of the low price.

Some of the outstanding projects of the Science Fair were on heart disease and fermentation, the star chart and solar system, and double circulation. Students were looking for problems to local solutions as well, such as flooding, load shedding and global warming.

Main thrust of the fair is to encourage the young scientists alongside flourishing their innovative latent talents and building a science minded nation.The Science Fair was a platform for students to develop both their research and creative skills and the event was greatly enjoyed by the students, parents and management of the school.

Grand Science and Innovation Expo 2026 Held at Rajshahi Collegiate School

Tanvir Hossain, Staff Reporter, Rajshahi, September 10, 2026: Rajshahi Collegiate School hosted a spectacular three-day Science and Innovation Expo 2026 on its campus, aiming to ignite a passion for scientific research among young minds. The grand event was officially inaugurated yesterday morning by the honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University, who lauded the institution’s effort in nurturing future innovators.

The school auditorium was transformed into a bustling hub of technology, housing over fifty brilliant exhibits designed by the students of secondary and higher secondary levels. The young scientists focused heavily on sustainable development and local challenges. One of the major highlights was a prototype of an AI-based automated traffic control system designed to minimize the city’s gridlock. Another group of tenth-graders presented a low-cost, eco-friendly water purification plant using indigenous herbs and charcoal, which drew immense appreciation from the judging panel. Other notable projects included smart agricultural drones, solar-powered automated irrigation models, and domestic biogas plants.

Hundreds of enthusiastic students, guardians, and local academicians visited the stalls throughout the day, engaging in interactive Q&A sessions with the young creators. The exhibition not only provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their latent analytical skills but also boosted their confidence in practical problem-solving. The event concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony in the evening, where the chief guest distributed crests and certificates to the creators of the top three outstanding projects.

Annual Science Fair Arranged at Chattogram Government High School

Local Correspondent, Chattogram, August 25, 2026: A two-day long annual science fair was held with great excitement at Chattogram Government High School yesterday. The school science club organized this wonderful event to help students learn practical science outside their textbooks. The Principal of the school inaugurated the fair at 10:00 a.m. by cutting a colorful ribbon.

Students from class six to class ten participated in the fair with their self-made science projects. They set up thirty different stalls in the large school auditorium. The visitors were amazed to see their creative ideas. Some smart students made a solar-powered boat that can run without diesel, helping to keep our rivers clean. Another interesting project was a cheap earthquake alarm that rings loudly when the ground shakes. Many students also made models showing how to produce organic fertilizer from household waste.

Parents, teachers, and students from nearby schools came to see the fair. The young participants explained their projects very confidently to everyone. It was a great opportunity for the students to show their hidden talents and practical knowledge. In the afternoon, the local Ward Councilor attended the closing program as the chief guest and gave away science books and medals to the winning teams.

Our School Science Fair in Khulna

Staff Reporter, Khulna, July 12, 2026: Yesterday, our school organized a very nice science fair in the big hall room. All the students were very happy and excited about this program. The Headmaster of our school started the fair in the morning.

Many boys and girls made beautiful science models with their own hands. They brought their models to the hall room and arranged them on small tables. Some children made a volcano with clay and baking soda that looked like real fire. Another group made a small village model showing how to keep the environment clean by using solar panels on the roof. One clever boy made a small electric fan using a simple battery and wires.

Many parents and local people came to see our science fair. The children smiled and told everyone how their machines worked. The teachers asked them easy questions, and the students answered very nicely. Everyone clapped and praised the little scientists for their hard work. At the end of the day, the Headmaster gave shiny cups and storybooks to the best students. It was a very joyful and educational day for all of us, and we learned many new things about science.

স্টাফ রিপোর্টার, খুলনা, ১২ জুলাই, ২০২৬: গতকাল আমাদের স্কুল বড় হলরুমে একটি খুব সুন্দর বিজ্ঞান মেলার আয়োজন করে। সব শিক্ষার্থী এই অনুষ্ঠান নিয়ে খুব খুশি এবং উত্তেজিত ছিল। আমাদের স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক সকালে মেলা শুরু করেন।

অনেক ছেলেমেয়ে নিজেদের হাতে সুন্দর সুন্দর বিজ্ঞানের মডেল তৈরি করে। তারা তাদের মডেলগুলো হলরুমে নিয়ে আসে এবং ছোট টেবিলের ওপর সাজিয়ে রাখে। কিছু শিশু মাটি এবং বেকিং সোডা দিয়ে একটি আগ্নেয়গিরি তৈরি করে যা দেখতে একেবারে আসল আগুনের মতো লাগছিল। অন্য একটি দল ছাদে সোলার প্যানেল ব্যবহার করে কীভাবে পরিবেশ পরিষ্কার রাখা যায় তা দেখানোর জন্য একটি ছোট গ্রামের মডেল তৈরি করে। একজন চালাক ছেলে একটি সাধারণ ব্যাটারি এবং তার ব্যবহার করে একটি ছোট বৈদ্যুতিক পাখা তৈরি করে।
