Colorful Cultural Program Held at Dinajpur Government College

Local Correspondent, Dinajpur, February 14, 2026: Dinajpur Government College celebrated its colorful annual cultural program yesterday with great joy and excitement. Students and teachers worked together for many days to make the campus look bright and festive with colorful banners and paper flowers.

The program started at 10:00 a.m. in the main hall room. The local Deputy Commissioner attended the event as the chief guest, and the Principal presided over the function. Many parents and former students also came to enjoy the wonderful day.

The cultural show began with a sweet chorus song sung by the college music club. After that, students performed lovely folk dances, funny drama skits, and recited famous poems by Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. The audience clapped loudly and cheered for every performance.

In the afternoon, prizes were given to the students who won various sports and literary competitions throughout the year. The chief guest gave a nice speech, telling the students to focus on both studies and cultural activities to become good human beings. Our College Cultural Show

Staff Reporter, Barisal, January 25, 2026: Yesterday was a very special day for our college. We had our annual cultural show in the big college field. All the students wore new dresses and came to school with smiling faces.

The program started in the morning. Our Principal gave a short welcome speech. Then, our local MP came as the chief guest and sat in the front row.

The students did many nice things on the stage. Some girls danced to folk songs, and some boys acted in a funny short play. One student sang a very sweet patriotic song, and everybody clapped for him. We also saw magic tricks that made the small children laugh.

At 2:00 p.m., the chief guest gave prizes to the winners. He smiled and gave shiny cups to the students. After that, we all ate some snacks and drank juice. It was a very happy and joyful day for all of us. We enjoyed every moment of the function.

সকালে অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়। আমাদের অধ্যক্ষ একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত স্বাগত বক্তব্য দেন। এরপর আমাদের স্থানীয় সাংসদ প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে এসে সামনের সারিতে বসেন।

শিক্ষার্থীরা মঞ্চে অনেক সুন্দর জিনিস পরিবেশন করে। কিছু মেয়ে লোকগানে নাচে, আর কিছু ছেলে একটি মজার ছোট নাটকে অভিনয় করে। একজন ছাত্র খুব মিষ্টি একটি দেশপ্রেমমূলক গান গায়, এবং সবাই তার জন্য হাততালি দেয়। ছোট শিশুদের হাসানোর জাদুকরী খেলাও আমরা দেখতে পেয়েছিলাম।

দুপুর ২টায় প্রধান অতিথি বিজয়ীদের হাতে পুরস্কার তুলে দেন। তিনি হেসে শিক্ষার্থীদের চকচকে কাপগুলো দেন। এরপর আমরা সবাই কিছু হালকা খাবার খাই এবং জুস পান করি। আমাদের সবার জন্য দিনটি খুব আনন্দদায়ক ও সুখের ছিল। আমরা অনুষ্ঠানের প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত উপভোগ করেছি।]

Held in the grand hallroom of our college, the function commenced with an air of anticipation following the distribution of prizes by our esteemed principal. Nearly all the teachers and students graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the sense of camaraderie and excitement.

The cultural journey began with a soul-stirring rendition of a patriotic anthem, invoking feelings of pride and unity among the audience. Subsequently, the air was filled with the mellifluous melodies of Nazrul and Rabindra Sangeet, performed by talented students of our college.
