The Student of Viqarunnisa Noon School Finishes Annual Study Tour

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2018: Yesterday, the annual study tour of Viqarunnisa Noon School held with much grandeur, enthusiasm and excitement. This year, the venue was the historic Sonargaon at Narayangonj. About 200 students joined in the study-tour. 15 teachers and 10 staff of the school also present there.

At about 8am, all the students gathered at their school campus. At just 8:30, they started their journey to Sonargaon. They hired 7 luxurious buses decorated with banners. The students were at liberty to perform as they wish. So, there were a lot of singing, dancing and merrymaking. At this time, several teachers also joined them to encourage their performance. On the way, they took their breakfast. About 10:30, the tour party reached their destination.

There, first they visited the ruins of ancient Sonargaon Palace and other archaeological sites. Then they visited the Sonargaon Folk Art Museum. They were charmed to see the relics preserved there. At 1:30, they took lunch together. After taking lunch, they set out to visit the tomb of Sultan Gias-Uddin Azam shah and the tomb of Shah Langar. Students were seen to take notes at different sites as each of them will submit their own articles on the tour. Teachers were seen guiding them constantly.

Dhaka Residential Model College Concludes Historic Study Tour

Tariqul Islam, Cumilla, February 12, 2026: The students of Dhaka Residential Model College successfully completed their highly anticipated annual study tour yesterday. This year, the academic excursion was arranged at the ancient archaeological site of Mainamati in Cumilla. Approximately 150 enthusiastic students from the humanities group, accompanied by twelve senior faculty members, participated in this educational journey.

The convoy of five modern coaches departed from the college campus at 7:30 a.m. During the pleasant journey, students engaged in lively discussions, recited poetry, and sang patriotic songs. Upon reaching the destination at 10:00 a.m., the group first explored the magnificent ruins of Shalban Vihara. The accompanying history teachers provided insightful on-site lectures about the rich Buddhist civilization of ancient Bengal.

Following the ruins, the students visited the Mainamati Museum to observe ancient coins, terracotta plaques, and bronze sculptures. The young learners diligently took notes for their mandatory post-tour assignments. After a grand buffet lunch at a nearby resort, the students participated in a short quiz competition based on the day's historical findings. The tour concluded peacefully as the buses returned to Dhaka by early evening, leaving the students with enriched historical knowledge and joyful memories.

তরিকুল ইসলাম, কুমিল্লা, ১২ ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৬: ঢাকা রেসিডেনসিয়াল মডেল কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীরা গতকাল অত্যন্ত সফলভাবে তাদের বহুল প্রতীক্ষিত বার্ষিক শিক্ষা সফর সম্পন্ন করেছে। এ বছর এই শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণের আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল কুমিল্লার প্রাচীন প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক স্থান ময়নামতিতে। মানবিক বিভাগের প্রায় ১৫০ জন উৎসাহী শিক্ষার্থী এবং ১২ জন জ্যেষ্ঠ শিক্ষক এই শিক্ষামূলক যাত্রায় অংশ নেন।

সকাল ৭:৩০ মিনিটে পাঁচটি আধুনিক বাসের বহর কলেজ ক্যাম্পাস থেকে যাত্রা শুরু করে। আনন্দদায়ক এই যাত্রাপথে শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রাণবন্ত আলোচনা, কবিতা আবৃত্তি এবং দেশাত্মবোধক গানে মেতে ওঠে। সকাল ১০টায় গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানোর পর, দলটি প্রথমেই শালবন বিহারের চমৎকার ধ্বংসাবশেষ ঘুরে দেখে। সাথে থাকা ইতিহাসের শিক্ষকরা প্রাচীন বাংলার সমৃদ্ধ বৌদ্ধ সভ্যতা সম্পর্কে ঘটনাস্থলেই জ্ঞানগর্ভ আলোচনা করেন।

ধ্বংসাবশেষ পরিদর্শনের পর, শিক্ষার্থীরা ময়নামতি জাদুঘরে সংরক্ষিত প্রাচীন মুদ্রা, পোড়ামাটির ফলক এবং ব্রোঞ্জের ভাস্কর্য দেখতে যায়। তরুণ শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের শিক্ষা সফর পরবর্তী বাধ্যতামূলক অ্যাসাইনমেন্টের জন্য মনোযোগ দিয়ে নোট তৈরি করে। কাছের একটি রিসোর্টে দারুণ দুপুরের খাবার খাওয়ার পর, শিক্ষার্থীরা সারাদিনের ঐতিহাসিক তথ্যের ওপর ভিত্তি করে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত কুইজ প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নেয়। সন্ধ্যার আগেই বাসগুলো ঢাকায় ফিরে আসার মাধ্যমে সফরটি শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে শেষ হয়, যা শিক্ষার্থীদের সমৃদ্ধ ঐতিহাসিক জ্ঞান ও আনন্দের স্মৃতি উপহার দেয়।]

Rajshahi Collegiate School Visits Ancient Mahasthangarh

Hasan Mahmud, Bogura, March 15, 2026: Yesterday, the students of Rajshahi Collegiate School enjoyed a wonderful annual study tour. The school authority selected Mahasthangarh in Bogura, the oldest known city in Bangladesh, for this year's trip. A total of 120 students and 10 teachers went on this exciting journey.

The students gathered at the school gate very early in the morning. At 8:00 a.m., they started their journey in three large, decorated buses. The bus ride was full of fun. Students clapped, sang popular songs, and joked with their friends. The teachers also joined in the fun, making everyone very happy. They reached Mahasthangarh at about 11:00 a.m.

First, the students walked around the old fort walls and saw the famous Govinda Bhita. After that, they visited the Mahasthangarh Museum. They were amazed to see the old weapons, clay pots, and ancient statues. At 2:00 p.m., everyone sat together under a big tree and ate delicious biryani. After lunch, the students bought some small souvenirs from the local shops. Finally, they returned to Rajshahi in the evening with lots of happy memories.

হাসান মাহমুদ, বগুড়া, ১৫ মার্চ, ২০২৬: গতকাল রাজশাহী কলেজিয়েট স্কুলের শিক্ষার্থীরা একটি চমৎকার বার্ষিক শিক্ষা সফর উপভোগ করেছে। স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ এবারের ভ্রমণের জন্য বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে প্রাচীন শহর বগুড়ার মহাস্থানগড়কে বেছে নিয়েছিল। মোট ১২০ জন শিক্ষার্থী এবং ১০ জন শিক্ষক এই আনন্দদায়ক যাত্রায় অংশ নেন।

খুব সকালেই শিক্ষার্থীরা স্কুলের গেটে জড়ো হয়। সকাল ৮টায় তারা তিনটি বড় ও সাজানো বাসে করে যাত্রা শুরু করে। বাস ভ্রমণটি ছিল দারুণ মজার। শিক্ষার্থীরা হাততালি দেয়, জনপ্রিয় গান গায় এবং বন্ধুদের সাথে মজা করে। শিক্ষকরাও তাদের এই আনন্দে যোগ দেন, যা সবাইকে খুব খুশি করে। বেলা ১১টার দিকে তারা মহাস্থানগড়ে পৌঁছায়।

প্রথমে শিক্ষার্থীরা পুরোনো দুর্গের দেয়ালের চারপাশে হেঁটে ঘোরে এবং বিখ্যাত গোবিন্দ ভিটা দেখে। এরপর তারা মহাস্থানগড় জাদুঘর পরিদর্শনে যায়। সেখানকার পুরোনো অস্ত্র, মাটির পাত্র এবং প্রাচীন মূর্তি দেখে তারা অবাক হয়ে যায়। দুপুর ২টায় সবাই একটি বড় গাছের নিচে একসাথে বসে মজাদার বিরিয়ানি খায়। দুপুরের খাবারের পর, শিক্ষার্থীরা স্থানীয় দোকানগুলো থেকে কিছু ছোটখাটো স্যুভেনির কেনে। অবশেষে, সন্ধ্যায় অনেক আনন্দের স্মৃতি নিয়ে তারা রাজশাহীতে ফিরে আসে।]

Sylhet Govt. Women's College Enjoys a Green Study Tour

Sumaiya Akter, Sylhet, November 20, 2025: The students of Sylhet Govt. Women's College went on a very nice study tour yesterday. They went to the beautiful tea gardens of Jaflong. About 100 girls and 8 teachers joined this happy trip.

Everyone came to the college ground at 8:00 a.m. They got into two big buses and started going to Jaflong. The girls sang songs and played games on the bus. They were laughing and having a great time. They reached the beautiful green hills at 10:30 a.m.

First, the students walked inside the green tea gardens. The teachers showed them how tea leaves are picked. They also saw the clean water of the river and colourful stones. Many girls took beautiful pictures with their friends. At 1:30 p.m., they all sat down and ate a tasty lunch. After eating, they played some fun outdoor games in a large field. In the afternoon, they got back on the buses to go home. The trip was very joyful for all the students.

সুমাইয়া আক্তার, সিলেট, ২০ নভেম্বর, ২০২৫: সিলেট সরকারি মহিলা কলেজের ছাত্রীরা গতকাল একটি খুব সুন্দর শিক্ষা সফরে গিয়েছিল। তারা জাফলংয়ের সুন্দর চা বাগানে গিয়েছিল। প্রায় ১০০ জন ছাত্রী এবং ৮ জন শিক্ষক এই আনন্দদায়ক ভ্রমণে অংশ নেন।

সবাই সকাল ৮টায় কলেজ মাঠে চলে আসে। তারা দুটি বড় বাসে উঠে জাফলংয়ের দিকে যাত্রা শুরু করে। ছাত্রীরা বাসের মধ্যে গান গায় এবং খেলাধুলা করে। তারা খুব হাসাহাসি করছিল এবং দারুণ সময় কাটাচ্ছিল। সকাল সাড়ে ১০টায় তারা সুন্দর সবুজ পাহাড়ে পৌঁছায়।

প্রথমে ছাত্রীরা সবুজ চা বাগানের ভেতর দিয়ে হাঁটে। শিক্ষকরা তাদের দেখান কীভাবে চা পাতা তোলা হয়। তারা নদীর পরিষ্কার পানি এবং রঙিন পাথরও দেখে। অনেক ছাত্রী বন্ধুদের সাথে সুন্দর সুন্দর ছবি তোলে। দুপুর দেড়টায় তারা সবাই বসে মজাদার দুপুরের খাবার খায়। খাওয়ার পর তারা একটি বড় মাঠে কিছু মজার খেলা খেলে। বিকেলে তারা বাড়ি ফেরার জন্য আবার বাসে ওঠে। এই ভ্রমণটি সব ছাত্রীর জন্য খুব আনন্দের ছিল।]
