Annual Sports Held in Munshiganj Haraganga College

Rakibur Rahman, Munshiganj Town, October 12: The annual sports of Munshiganj Haraganga College were held with great excitement and enthusiasm yesterday. The college authorities organized this grand event as an integral part of the co-curricular activities for the ongoing academic session. The vibrant sports meet took place on the college grounds, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity.

The event was graced by the honorable Minister of Education as the chief guest, accompanied by the Education Secretary as the special guest. The program began punctually at 9:30 a.m. with the symbolic running of the Olympic torch. This was followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag and the release of pigeons, symbolizing peace. The march-past by students came next, where the Minister took the salute and commended the discipline and spirit of the participants.

The sports meet featured an array of exciting events, including 100-meter and 400-meter sprints, an 800-meter race, javelin throw, long jump, high jump, cycle race, weightlifting, and the popular "dress as you like" competition. All performances were of exceptional quality, surpassing previous records and showcasing the talents of the students.

The crowd, including teachers, students, and parents, cheered passionately, especially during the most competitive events. Ratan, a student of Class XI, achieved notable success by securing the second prize in the long jump.

The award ceremony followed immediately after the conclusion of the events. Trophies and certificates of proficiency were distributed to the top three winners in each category by the Minister. In his closing speech, the Minister praised the outstanding arrangements and encouraged students to remain dedicated to both academic excellence and physical fitness.

The day ended on a high note, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to embrace the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. The annual sports not only celebrated physical achievements but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie among students.



Annual Sports Event at Rangpur Govt. Girls' College

The vibrant spirit of athleticism and camaraderie took center stage at Rangpur Govt. Girls' College during its annual sports event held yesterday. Organized by the college authority as a pivotal component of its co-curricular activities, the event unfolded on the college grounds amidst a backdrop of excitement and enthusiasm.

The college premises underwent a remarkable transformation, adorned with an array of colorful flags and intricate paper designs. Welcoming visitors with grandeur, a splendid artificial gate graced the entrance, setting the tone for a memorable occasion. Under the expansive canopy, arrangements were made for guests and spectators to witness the festivities.

The festivities commenced at 8 a.m. with a ceremonial flag hoisting by the Principal, accompanied by the stirring strains of the national anthem. With a lineup of 25 events catering to diverse interests, students eagerly participated, showcasing their skills and determination. Spectators were treated to a spectacle of excellence as students poured their hearts into each competition.

As the day drew to a close, anticipation mounted for the announcement of winners. Amidst an atmosphere charged with anticipation, Mr. Rafiqul Islam, the Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur, graced the occasion as the chief guest. With grace and dignity, he presented the deserving victors with a plethora of enticing prizes, marking their achievements with distinction.

The event transcended mere competition, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among students, teachers, and guardians alike. As the echoes of applause faded into the horizon, the memories of this spirited sports meet lingered, enriching the fabric of the college community with a lasting sense of pride and accomplishment.







Annual sports held in Rangpur Govt. Girls' College

Sabrina, Rangpur. January 5, 2023: The annual sports were held in Rangpur Govt. Girls' College yesterday. The college authority arranged this enthusiastic event as a part of co-curricular activities in the current academic session. The annual sports were held on the college ground in a befitting atmosphere. The college ground was decorated with colourful flags and paper designs. A beautiful artificial gate was L erected at the entrance of the compound. Sitting arrangements for the  guests and spectators were made under a large canopy. The sports started at 8 a.m. when the Principal hoisted the national flag with the band of national anthem. There were 25 events in which students took part according to their own choice. Spectators enjoyed the excellent performances of the students in the events. At the end of the programme, the winners were awarded different attractive prizes. Mr. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Commissioner, Rangpur, who was the chief guest, distributed the prizes. All other students. teachers and guardians enjoyed the sports-meet.
