Cruel Truck Took Five Lives

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2025: At least five passengers including a child were killed and 17 other seriously injured in a terrible road accident yesterday on Dhaka Aricha Highway. The accident took place near Aminbazar, Savar at about 7.30 am. The dead bodies are identified as Md. Jabbar (26) Md. Ali (63), Anwar hossain (43), Md. Shahajalal (22) and Tulu (9), All they are the inhabitants of Gopalgonj.

According to the spot witness, the accident took place because of the carelessness of the drunkard truck driver. They informed a Gopalgonj bound bus (comfort line- Ga-14-1988) was running towards Aricha ghat. At that time, a truck coming from the opposite direction colided with the bus in full speed. The upper portions of both the vehicle were totally smashed. Four passengers died on the spot and a children died on the way to hospital. The others injured have been taken to hospital. Among the injured, the condition of two women is more deteriorating and they have been shifted to Dhaka Medical college from a local clinic at Savar.

In the primary investigation, Police informs that the driver was drug addicted. The killer driver has been sent to jail and the interrogation is going on. The truck is also now in the police custody (Dhaka metro- Ja-22-1409).

A Terrible Road Accident at Dhaka- Satkhira Highway

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2025: A terrible road accident took place at Dhaka-Satkhira Highway yesterday. A speedy bus coming from Satkhira collided a private car bound for Satkhira. Hasan, the driver of the private car was seriously wounded. Observing his serious condition some pedestrians being excited began to break the bus. The bus driver was lucky. Causing the accident, he fled away. Therefore, the activity in the street ceased for a few hours. After t a few hours, the DC of Satkhira with police drive rushed to the spot scattered the fomented crowd and figured out how to re-worked the movement. They seized the bus and registered a case negligent driving against the absconding bus driver. In the meantime, the car driver was about to die. He was taken to a nearby hospital. He was hospitalized at emergency unit. But after sometime he was dead. The police are investigating the case. Though the bus owner and the driver have not yet been arrested, they are hopeful to making the case successful and taking drastic action against the criminals. The parents of the boy came there and almost gone to mad to see their son. They lamented again and again, “We had lost my son forever. We do not get him at all. It’s our sad, it’s total life sad.” The state transport minister has announced compensation of TK 200000/- to the families of deceased ones and TK 50000/- to the families of injured ones.

Cruel Truck Claims Five Lives on Highway

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2025: A catastrophic head-on collision on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway claimed the lives of five individuals, including a young child, and left 17 others critically injured yesterday morning. The fatal crash occurred around 7:30 am near the Aminbazar area of Savar.

Eyewitnesses reported that a speeding truck, driven by an allegedly intoxicated driver, lost control and crashed violently into a Gopalganj-bound passenger bus named Comfort Line. The massive impact completely crushed the front sections of both vehicles. Four passengers died instantly at the scene, while a nine-year-old boy named Tulu succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. All the deceased were residents of Gopalganj.

Local people quickly rushed to rescue the injured and took them to nearby clinics. Because their conditions were rapidly deteriorating, two critically injured women were later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced care.

Law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene, seizing the killer truck (Dhaka Metro-Ja-22-1409) and arresting the driver. Primary police investigations confirmed that the driver was under the influence of drugs. A case has been filed, and formal interrogation is currently underway.

Five People Die in a Terrible Bus Crash

Staff Reporter, Dhaka, July 5, 2025: Five passengers died and 17 people got hurt in a very bad road accident yesterday. A little child also died in this crash. It happened on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway near Aminbazar at 7:30 in the morning.

A bus named Comfort Line was going to Gopalganj. Suddenly, a fast truck came from the front and hit the bus very hard. Both vehicles were badly broken. People on the road said the truck driver was driving very carelessly because he was drunk.

Four people died on the road right away. A nine-year-old child died on the way to the hospital. All the dead persons lived in Gopalganj. Local people took the injured passengers to a hospital in Savar to help them. Two women were very sick, so doctors sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The police came and caught the bad truck driver. They also took the truck to the police station. The driver is now in jail and police are asking him questions.

রাস্তাতেই সাথে সাথে চারজন মানুষ মারা যান। হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার পথে নয় বছরের একটি শিশু মারা যায়। মারা যাওয়া সব মানুষই গোপালগঞ্জে থাকতেন। স্থানীয় লোকজন আহত যাত্রীদের সাহায্য করার জন্য সাভারের একটি হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যায়। দুই নারী খুব অসুস্থ থাকায় ডাক্তাররা তাদের ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠিয়ে দেন।
