We are highly interested in organizing a comprehensive career guidance seminar on our college campus next week.

As students of the HSC second year, we are standing at a very critical juncture in our lives. Following our upcoming board examinations, we will immediately face the highly competitive university admission process. Unfortunately, many brilliant students in our batch are currently suffering from deep confusion regarding which academic discipline to pursue and lack a clear understanding of the current job market's demands.

A properly arranged career guidance seminar would act as an eye-opener for the entire outgoing batch. We have planned to invite a few renowned university professors and career counselors who can provide us with accurate, practical advice on various emerging professions. To successfully host this event, we kindly request your permission to use the main college auditorium and require a small financial grant from the college fund to cover the honorarium for our guest speakers.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to formally propose the arrangement of a professional career guidance and counseling seminar for the graduating students of our institution. As the HSC test examinations have successfully concluded, we believe this is the perfect window of time to help our senior students plan their upcoming higher secondary education and future professional trajectories.

Currently, many of our students are making blind choices regarding their future subject groups—Science, Commerce, or Arts—based entirely on peer pressure or outdated trends rather than their actual aptitude. This lack of proper career direction at an early age often leads to severe academic frustration and limits their future potential. They desperately need professional exposure to understand the diverse career opportunities available in the modern world.

We propose arranging a half-day seminar in the central school hall during the upcoming weekend. The plan involves inviting professional educational consultants who can administer basic aptitude tests and provide clear, realistic advice to the students and their attending parents. We have already drafted a preliminary schedule and identified several excellent guest speakers who are willing to attend if we secure the venue.

I strongly urge the management committee to approve this proposal and allocate a modest budget to facilitate the logistical arrangements for this event. I would be highly grateful to discuss the event details with you at your earliest convenience.
