Ans. The False Friends
Once upon a time there lived three friends in a certain village. One day they set out for a long journey on foot. They promised ,to help one another when any problem arose. On the way they had to pass through a jungle. All on a sudden, they saw a bag of gold lying on the ground. They became very happy to have such a huge amount of gold at a time.' They decided to divide the treasure equally among themselves. In fact, everyone was willing to have the entire amount of gold for himself. In the meantime they came near a town. One of them went to the town to bring food for his companions. He took his meal in a hotel and then bought food for companions. By this time an evil plan came to his mind. With a view to killing his companions, he poisoned the food. On the other hand, his friends conspired to kill him on his return from the town and afterwards divide the gold between the two. No sooner had the friend come back from the town than the other two killed him. As they were very hungry. they ate the poisoned food and died. Greed is a sin. It leads a man to death. It harms on all noble qualities. A greedy man is more dangerous than an wild animal. Therefore, we must give up greed to be an ideal man.
The False Friends
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived three friends who were very close to one another. They spent their days together, helping each other with whatever came their way. One day, the three friends decided to embark on a long journey. They promised to stick together and support one another, no matter what challenges they might face along the way.
As they traveled on foot through a dense jungle, their journey took an unexpected turn. Suddenly, they spotted a bag of gold lying on the ground. The sight of such a treasure made them ecstatic. They could hardly believe their luck. The three friends began to discuss how to divide the gold equally among themselves. However, each of them secretly thought about keeping the entire fortune for themselves. Greed began to cloud their judgment.
The friends soon reached a nearby town, and one of them volunteered to go into the town to bring food for the group. His mind, however, was not on food. As he walked through the streets, an evil plan began to take shape in his mind. Instead of simply buying food for his friends, he decided to poison the meal to kill them. He figured that once they were dead, he would be able to claim the gold for himself.
Meanwhile, the two other friends, sensing the greed of the one who had gone to the town, began to conspire among themselves. They decided that when he returned with the food, they would kill him, take the gold, and divide it between the two of them. They had no idea that their friend had already planned to do the same to them.
The day passed, and the friend finally returned from the town. He brought the poisoned food with him, but as soon as he arrived, the other two friends attacked him and killed him. But their happiness was short-lived. They were very hungry and, without any suspicion, ate the poisoned food that their friend had brought back. Soon after eating, both of them collapsed and died.
The jungle, once the setting of their hopeful journey, became their final resting place. The treasure of gold, which had caused so much greed and deception, was left behind, untouched. In the end, their greed led to their deaths. It destroyed all their noble qualities and turned them against each other. They had failed to understand that the pursuit of wealth and selfish desires could never bring true happiness.
This story teaches us an important lesson: greed is a dangerous sin. It harms not only the person who is greedy but also those around them. A greedy person is more dangerous than any wild animal, for they can destroy even the closest relationships. If we want to be good, noble people, we must learn to control our greed and strive for kindness, honesty, and generosity. Only then can we lead a truly meaningful life.
Greed Leads to Sin and Sin Leads to Death

On the way they had to pass through a jungle. All on a sudden, they saw a bag of gold lying on the ground. They became elated with joy and decided to divide them equally into three parts so that they each many get an equal share of the gold coins. Meanwhile, they got tired and hungry. Through negotiation, they sent one of the friends to the nearby market to bring some food. While he went for food, they two other friends plotted against him to the effect that he would be killed lest he should be given one-third of the shares. On the other hand, while going for food, he thought to himself that the food should be poisoned so that he alone could get the whole share of the gold coins. He returned with food mixed with poison. No sooner had he returned than the two other friends kill him. They felt contented and sat together to eat the food. They did not doubt about the foods being poisoned by their dead friends. They ate and were poisoned to death. The bag of gold remained lying on the ground. The three greedy friends were not alive to claim the ownership of the gold coins.

Grasp All, Lose All
There lived three friends in a village. One day the first friend planned to steal gold from a house. The second friend, at once, agreed to this proposal of stealing and expressed his desire to become rich. But the third friend was a bit different. He always denied what the two other suggested but eventually would agree. So this time he also showed his indifference but finally agreed on the condition that he would be given a bigger share than the others. Then, the three friends made all arrangements, fixed the date and took mental preparation against any kind of possible danger. Then, the day came and the three friends started their adventure in the dark of the midnight. They went to a house. They moved around the house for sometime and looked for a scope to enter the house. They found it and all of them entered. They looked for gold here and there. They began to talk to each other silently. But they were careful of any sort of possible danger. They went on searching for gold. At last the second friend found the gold and called the two others. All of them were greatly happy. Now they had gold and soon they would become rich. So they felt excited. But they were yet to leave the house. They were extremely joyous. So out of joy, they forgot that they had come here to steal gold. Thus they made a terrible mistake. They gave a violent outburst of their joy and excitement and awakened all the members of the house. Then they were caught, beaten and put into prison for their guilty act. They had a lesson from this incident of their life. And now they know the fact that those who steal must suffer in the prison.
