With due respect and humble submission, we, the students of your esteemed college, would like to state that we are highly interested in organizing a traditional "Pitha Utsab" (Cake Fair) on our college campus next week. We have always actively engaged in cultural activities to keep our rich national heritage alive among the younger generation.

Winter in Bangladesh is deeply intertwined with the festive tradition of making and sharing various kinds of delicious rural pithas. Unfortunately, due to the rapid rise of urban, fast-paced lifestyles, many city-dwelling students are slowly losing touch with this beautiful cultural practice. Organizing a vibrant Pitha Utsab on campus would be a wonderful initiative to introduce the students to our authentic Bengali roots and culinary traditions.

We have planned to set up several temporary stalls in the main college playground, where students from different classes will prepare and display homemade pithas. We also intend to invite the teaching staff to judge the stalls and enjoy the festive atmosphere. To successfully execute this cultural event, we kindly request your official permission to use the playground and a small financial grant to decorate the venue.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to appreciate our cultural initiative and grant us the necessary permission and support to make this event a grand success.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you on behalf of the college cultural club to formally propose the arrangement of a traditional "Pitha Utsab" (Cake Fair) during the ongoing winter season. As our institution has always been a pioneer in promoting cultural values, we believe this event will be a highly engaging and educational experience for the entire student body.

The tradition of making winter pithas is a core element of Bengali rural culture, but it is slowly fading away in urban society. A dedicated Pitha Utsab will provide a joyful platform for students to celebrate this heritage, breaking the continuous monotony of their regular academic routines. It will also encourage teamwork and creativity, as students will have to collaborate to organize and manage their respective food stalls.

Our proposed plan is to hold the fair on the upcoming Thursday morning in the central courtyard. Different student groups will set up decorated stalls to showcase a diverse variety of traditional homemade pithas, such as Bhapa, Puli, and Patishapta. We would greatly appreciate it if the cultural committee could provide us with the necessary logistical support, such as arranging tables, chairs, and basic sound equipment for background folk music.

I strongly urge the committee to review this proposal and grant us the official permission to proceed with our preparations. We would be highly grateful for the opportunity to discuss the event layout and safety protocols with you at your earliest convenience.
