1. Read the following text carefully and answer the questions
Abul Fazal, educationist and writer, was born on 1 July 1903 in the village of Keochia in Satkania Chattogram district. His father, Moulavi Fazlur Rahman, was an Imam of Chattogram Jame Masjid.
He completed his BA from Dhaka University in 1928. In 1930, he did his BT from training College, Dhaka. He completed his Master’s degree in Bangla Language and literature from Kolkata University in 1940. He worked as a teacher of Bangla in Krishnanagar and Chattogram College. In 1973, he was made Vice Chancellor of Chattogram University. In 1975 he joined the Advisory Council of the Government of Bangladesh, but resigned on 23 June 1977. He wrote novels, short stories, plays, memories of travels, etc. His contribution to Bangla literature earned him the Bangla Academy Award (1962), the President’s Award (1963) the Adamjee Literary Award (1966), etc. He died on 4 May 1983 in Chattogram.

অবুল ফজল, শিক্ষাবিদ এবং লেখক, ১৯০৩ সালের ১ জুলাই চট্টগ্রামের সাতকানিয়া উপজেলার কেওচিয়া গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর পিতা মৌলভী ফজলুর রহমান চট্টগ্রাম জাম Masjid মসজিদের ইমাম ছিলেন।
তিনি ১৯২৮ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বি.এ. সম্পন্ন করেন। ১৯৩০ সালে ঢাকা ট্রেনিং কলেজ থেকে বি.টি. ডিগ্রি লাভ করেন। ১৯৪০ সালে কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বাংলা ভাষা ও সাহিত্য বিষয়ে মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি লাভ করেন। তিনি কৃষ্ণনগর ও চট্টগ্রাম কলেজে বাংলা শিক্ষক হিসেবে কাজ করেন। ১৯৭৩ সালে তিনি চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য নিযুক্ত হন। ১৯৭৫ সালে বাংলাদেশের সরকারের পরামর্শক পরিষদের সদস্য হন, তবে ২৩ জুন ১৯৭৭ সালে তিনি পদত্যাগ করেন। তিনি উপন্যাস, ছোট গল্প, নাটক, ভ্রমণকাহিনী ইত্যাদি লিখেছেন। বাংলা সাহিত্যে তাঁর অবদান তাঁকে বাংলা একাডেমি পুরস্কার (১৯৬২), রাষ্ট্রপতি পুরস্কার (১৯৬৩), আদমজী সাহিত্য পুরস্কার (১৯৬৬) প্রভৃতি সম্মাননা অর্জন করেন। ১৯৮৩ সালের ৪ মে তিনি চট্টগ্রামে মৃত্যুবরণ করেন।
