A Struggling Boy

Suranjan is a boy of 12 and is reading in class 5. He is very studious. He never became second in his exam. So he wants to appear at the scholarship examination. His father is a poor farmer and is unable to pay the examination fees. When the work of filling the scholarship forms was going on he was absent from the class.

Suranjan thought that what was the use of going to school if he would not appear in the scholarship exam. He consoled himself by saying that education did not come for the poor like him. So he was then passing his time in the home. He was very disappointed.

He could not think anything without exam. But alas! it was his fate which did not support him. But all the teachers of the school love him as their son. When the class teacher noticed that he was not present in the class, he went to his house. Having heard everything from his parents, the class teacher expressed his desire to help Hasan. He paid the examination fees of Hasan and bought him some reference books.

Having the opportunity Hasan became very much grateful to his teacher and determined to repay that debt by doing a brilliant result. With this end in view he began studying hard with the inspiration of his parents. When the results were out, everybody saw that he stood first in the thana in order of merit. Hasan’s glorious result pleased the headmaster so mush that he took the responsibility of expenses of his study up to SSC. One of the guardians was very rich and declared his willingness to bear the expenses of his study as long as Hasan studies.

A Struggling Boy

Suranjan, a 12-year-old boy studying in class 5, was an exceptional student. He had always ranked first in his exams and was eager to appear for the upcoming scholarship examination. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Suranjan vowed to prove himself worthy of his teacher’s kindness. Encouraged by his parents’ support and his teacher’s generosity, he studied harder than ever. When the results were announced, Suranjan’s hard work paid off—he secured the first position in the entire thana.

His outstanding achievement deeply impressed the headmaster, who took responsibility for his education until SSC. Inspired by Suranjan’s determination, a wealthy guardian stepped forward and promised to fund his studies for as long as he pursued education.
