A Pleasant Plane Journey

I live in Chattogram. My elder brother works in Sylhet Iast summer he asked me to stay a few days with him and sent me a plane ticket. That was my first journey by air. I arrived at the airport about an hour before the flight and checked in and waited in the lounge.

It was my first time flying alone, and I was both nervous and excited as I navigated through the bustling airport crowd. Armed with my boarding card indicating my seat number, I made my way to the departure gate, recognizing only a few familiar faces among the sea of strangers.

As the announcement for boarding echoed through the terminal, I joined the queue and boarded the plane. Finding my seat, I settled in and observed as the other passengers filled the cabin. Once everyone was on board, the door was closed, and we received safety instructions from the crew.

With a gentle hum, the plane taxied to the runway, and soon we were airborne. The captain's reassuring voice came over the intercom, welcoming us on board and wishing us a pleasant flight. I relaxed into my seat, taking in the sensation of being thousands of feet above the ground.

A flight attendant offered newspapers and refreshments, and I accepted a glass of orange and lemon squash. Sipping my drink, I gazed out of the window, marveling at the view of clouds drifting by and the miniature landscape below.

Before I knew it, the captain announced our imminent arrival at Sylhet airport, signaling the end of our short but memorable journey. As the plane descended and touched down smoothly, I felt a mix of relief and exhilaration. Despite my initial nerves, I realized that I had thoroughly enjoyed my first solo flight experience.
